Ernest Bussenshut died at White Salmon Sunday, July *11 [sic], aged 21 years. The funeral was held at the residence in White Salmon, Sunday morning, July 18, and the burial was at Gilmer. The deceased had been ill with tuberculosis for five months, four of which he was confined to his bed.
NOTE: Couldn't have died on the 11th if he was last attended by a physician on the 16th.
They would not wait a week to bury someone with tuberculosis.
