daughter of James Armstrong Dickson - Mary Ann Woods

Miss Mary Belle Dickson married Thomas Franklin Kindley in 1876. To this union, four children were born. The couple moved to Texas in the fall of 1878 from Bentonville, Arkansas.

She united with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church when a young girl and remained faithful and devoted. In 1904, she united with the Baptist Church where there was no Presbyterian Church in the neighborhood at that time. She remained a faithful and consecrated member of this church until her Master called her home to HIm. She was a faithful wife, devoted mother, and a kind neighbor whose going is mourned by a large circle of friends.

Services were conducted at First Baptist Church by Rev. G.W. Black and assisted by Rev. W.E.B. Lockridge, pastor of First Baptist Church.

Survived by her husband; one daughter - Mrs. Jason Mayes; two sons - Dr. George Cyrus Kindley and James Harry Kindley; six grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, two sisters; one daughter - Miss Lottie Dixon Kindley.
