Miss Ann Kindley married Jason Mayes on 14 February 1897 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T.F. Kindley at Indian Mound, Texas.

Anne Kindley came to Young County with her parents in 1878.

Services for Mrs. Jason Mayes, 79, were at First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Hubert Foust, the pastor. Mrs. Mayes had live in Graham since 1916 and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survived by one daughter - Mrs. Bessie Wimberly; two sons - Harry K. Mayes and George Mayes; two brothers - Harry Kindley, Sr. and Dr. George Cyrus Kindley; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

All three children were at the funeral even though they came a long distance.
