Sarah Alice McGuire Good, 80, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1986, at Senior Citizens Nursing Home, Nevada, after a short illness.
Born October 16, 1906, in Morgan County, Ky., she was a daughter of John Miles and Lulu (Craft) McGuire. She moved to Missouri as a child and spent the remainder of her life in Bates and Vernon counties. She was married January 25, 1925, in Bates County to Thomas B. Good. She was a Seventh Day Adventist. She was preceded in death by one son, Wilbur Lee Good, one grandson, four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas; four daughters, Hazel Lucille Fry, Raytown, Linda Sue Gollhoier, Nevada, Helen Maxine Carlyle, Auburn, Calif., and Barbara Jane Ahrens, Bellevue, Wash.; two sons, Bennie Larry Good and William Clark Good, both of Nevada; three sisters, Marie Staley and Edna Martin, both of Sacramento, Calif., and Clara Stone, Wickenburg, Ariz.; one brother, Wendell McGuire, Citrus Heights, Calif.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30pm Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1986, at Ferry Funeral Home. The Rev. Keith Wilcox will officiate. Interment will be in Virginia Cemetery, west of Butler.
The Family will receive friends from 7 to 8pm Tuesday, Nov 25, 1986, in the funeral home chapel, where friends may call now and until the hour of service.
