ASHEVILLE –
Marjorie Biddix Robinson, age 88, of 137 Elkwood Avenue, Asheville died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008.
Mrs. Robinson was born March 11, 1919 in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. She retired from Mills Manufacturing. She was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God. Her parents, Walter Biddix and Lena Mathews Miller preceded her in death as well as her husband, Mervin F. Robinson who died in 1997. Oscar Ingle was her biological father only.
Surviving are her daughters, Pat Laws and husband Robert of Graham, N.C. and Linda Young and husband Mike of Asheville; son, Rev. Robert Vernon Robinson and wife Betty of Concord, N.C.; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville with the Rev. Bob Chuprevich officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends following the funeral service Friday until 8:30 p.m.
