Frankfort Church Rites Wednesday for Mrs. Margaret Arlint

Mrs. Margaret Theresa Arlint, 86, died Saturday, August 7, 1971, at the Laurence Pretz home near Lillis. Funeral services were held at Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort Wednesday, August 11, at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Leo Cooper officiating.

She was born at Springside in Pottawatomie county on February 10, 1885, to Philip and Elizabeth Budenbender, the youngest of 11 children. She was married to Charles Elbert Arlint October 15, 1906, and they were the parents of six children.

Most of her life was spent in Pottawatomie and Marshall counties, residing west of Frankfort for 27 years. Later she lived with her son Albert in Frankfort, and the past three years she has made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, the Pretz'.

Preceding her in death was her husband on October 9, 1947, a son Lawrence in 1950, and a grandson Leroy Pretz in 1966, also her parents, seven sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Laurence (Marie) Pretz, and four sons, Ira and Patrick Arlint, Waterville; Albert Arlint, Frankfort; Charles J. Arlint, Portland, Ore.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Antone (Hannah) Fisher, Viets.

Rosary was recited at Padden's chapel on Monday evening by the Annunciation Altar society, on Tuesday afternoon by the Lillis Legion of Mary society, and on Tuesday evening by Father Cooper.

Burial was in the Mt. Calvary cemetery at Frankfort. Pallbearers were nephews, Joseph, Fred and Cyril Budenbender, Albert Lauer, Linus Fisher and George Fisher
