D Lantz Heller, 74, 502 Smythe ave, Loves Park, was found dead in his home about 1:30 pm Thursday. Coroner Collins Y Sundberg said Heller had been dead several days, apparently of a heart attack. Born May 2, 1880, in Oregon, Ill, son of John and Emma Heller. Lived 31 years in Rockford, coming here from Oregon. Worked as a mason contractor. Member of Oregon Methodist church. Attended Oregon schools. Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs Fred Doss. three sons, Harlan Heller, Belvidere, and D Lantz Heller, Jr, and John Heller, both of Wayne, Mich; eight grandchildren. Services at 11 am Monday in the Sundberg-Chapin Funeral Home, 215 Hall st, with the Rev Franklin M Zentz, pastor of Court Street Methodist church, officiating. Graveside services at 1:30 pm Monday in Riverview cemetery at Oregon, with the Rev Fred Anderson, pastor of Oregon Methodist church, officiating.
