"The LaFayette Sun" - May 5, 1915:

In Memory of Little Henry Coker.

We feel sad to note the death of sweet little Henry, who fell asleep in the arms of Jesus. He was born April 10, 1912; died March 4, 1915. Henry was the favorite of the family; he was loved and petted by all, but thanks be to the name of the Lord, Jesus loved him better and more than all on earth, and today we thank the Lord he is free from all sufferings and sorrow. He suffered so much that we feel it wrong to grieve after him. For now he's a bright angel in heaven. Jesus said "Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of heaven." And we know that it was God who caused those little hands to cease to wave for water, for all the water on earth could not quench his thirst, but thank the Lord he is now drinking from the well of life. His little body was laid to rest at Macedonia Cemetery. The funeral services were conducted by Elder C. W. Welch.

"A precious one from us has gone, never to return,
We can never forget the day that our darling Henry was burned.
He sent forth his little spirit
Like a gentle dove;
To prepare for mama and papa
A heavenly home above."

-His Parents.
