O. Tillman Harrelson, 69, died at his home at Rt. 1, Loris, January 1, 1960.
He was a native of Horry County, a son of Benjamin Paul and Nancy C. Harrelson. He was a farmer, a school teacher for 35 years and served as a deputy sheriff for 16 years.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Zillah (nee Dawsey) Harrelson of the home; two sons, O. T. Harrelson Jr. of Rt. 1 Loris and Devon Harrelson of the Army at Ft. Bragg; three daughters, Mrs. Woodrow Graham of Rt. 1 Loris, Mrs. Archie Burms of Florence and Mrs. Frances Shippman of Whiteville, N. C.; a sister, Mrs. Guila Dawsey of Chadburn, N. C., and 11 grandchildren.
