Elizabeth Jones married Samuel Barr May 19, 1849 in Green, Howard, IN. They were blessed with four children, Martha, who died in infancy, Oliver, James and Eunice.
Samuel Barr fought in the Battle of Franklin, Tennessee and never came home. It is not known exactly what happened to him, the family was told he died in Libby Prison.
Elizabeth grieved for him the rest of her life.
Her parents raised her children.
She married Thomas Moorman 27 Jan 1867
