Death of Mrs. Joshua Gentry.
Rebecca Ann Gentry was born in Jefferson county, Ohio, April 23d, 1833, and died at her home in Lincoln township Feb. 4th, 1910. In 1862 she with her former husband, Harden Duvall, located in Madison county, Iowa. In 1866 Mr. Duvall died, then she was married to Joshua Gentry, of Lincoln township, in 1884.
Grandma Gentry was converted and joined the Methodist Episcopal church when about sixteen years of age, and of which was a faithful member until her death. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a kind friend and was loved by those who knew her. She leaves to mourn her death a loving husband, one daughter, one brother, Joseph Gustin, of Des Moines, and one sister in Nebraska and many warm friends.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Clearwater at the home, Feb. 6th and interment made in the Hooten cemetery
