Daughter of Col. Thomas Brooke and his second wife Barbara Dent. She married Dr. Patrick Sim of Prince George's County. Her grandson, Thomas Sim Lee, was Governor of Maryland 1779-82, and 1792-94.

1. Joseph Walter Sim, who was born about 1725 in Prince George's County, Maryland. His full name is given in his mother's will. He ~m~ 1st Catherine Murdock, second daughter of William Murdock and Ann (Addison). He ~m~ 2nd as her third husband, Lettice Lee, daughter of Philip Lee. Lettice married 1st James Wardrop (their home "Darnall's Chance" is now a museum). Lettice married 2nd Dr. Adam Thomson, who created the "American method" of smallpox inoculation. Joseph Sim had issue only from his 1st marriage to Catherine Murdock. Joseph was a Colonel in the 11th battalion during the Rev War and one of the Annapolis Assemblymen who denounced the British for closing Boston harbor in 1774, a Delegate for the Maryland Convention in 1775, on the 1st Privy Council of the State of Maryland in 1777 and a member of the General Assembly in 1780. He died November 27, 1793 in Frederick County, Maryland. His burial location is unknown, but most likely in Frederick County next to his home.

3. Christian Sim, ~m~ 1st Thomas Lee, son of Philip Lee and brother of Lettice Lee, who was the 2nd wife of her brother Joseph. She ~m~ 2nd Walter Smith, first cousin of her sister Barbara's husband Clement Smith.
