Melvin F. Adams, 59, Fort Wayne, father of Mrs. Jerry (Bonnie) Gallmeyer, Decatur, died Saturday evening at his residence.
He was a lifelong resident of Allen County and retired last October from the International Harvester Co. with 40 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, Arnita, [sic] two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Bonnie) Gallmeyer, Decatur, and Mrs. Ora (Susan) Bidlack, Defiance, O.; two brothers, Albert and Walter; and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Bashelier and Mrs. Pearl Amstutz, all of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Alvina Adams, Richmond.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Martini Lutheran Church. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Klehn’s South Anthony Chapel. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery.
