CANTON — Tamara "Tammy" Reineke Labbadia, 46, of 89 Mallard, Farmington Woods, died Tuesday morning July 27, 2010 after a battle with cancer. Tammy passed at the John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, with her loving family at her bedside. She was born Nov. 20, 1963 in Yakima Washington, daughter of Sandra (Pickert) Reineke of North Canaan, and the late Darrell Frederick John Reineke.

Tammy was a graduate of Eisenhower High School in Yakima, Wash. She devoted herself to raising her family.

Tammy, in addition to her mother, is survived by her two sons Nieko and Drew Labbadia of Canton. Her four siblings: Charlene Reineke of Washington; Ric Reineke of Virginia Beach, Va.; Kathy Whiting of Canaan Valley; and Heidi Jacquier of Canaan. Tammy is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 31, at 2 p.m. in the North Canaan Congregational Church East Canaan. Burial will follow in Salisbury Cemetery Salisbury. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Newkirk-Palmer Funeral Home 118 Main St. North Canaan.
