Guy Wilson Schaub
Guy W. Schaub, 70, of Route 1, Lewisville, died at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 1988 at his home following an extended illness.
He was born at Woodsfield, Ohio on May 18,1918, a son of the late Fred and Belle Shorts Schaub.
He was a retired farmer and truck driver. He was a member of the Woodsfield united Methodist church and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Estelle Lendon Schaub of the home; one daughter , Mrs. John (Bonnie) Eichhorn of Barnesville; one son and daughter -in-law, Larry and Betty Schaub of Route 1 Lewisville.; five step-daughters, Alvaretta Luyster of Flushing, Betty Matson of Newark, Cora Blackstone of Lewisville, Elsie Bonam of Wooster, Frances Lendon of Mansfield; one step-son Carl Lendon of Malaga; two sisters Lillian Burkhart and Margaret Young, both of Woodsfield; one brother, Eugene Schaub of Woodsfield; 25 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one step-son Leonard Lendon Jr.
Friends will be received at the Watters funeral home, Woodsfield, 9: 00a.m--9:p.m. Friday where funeral services will be held at 2:p.m. Saturday with pastor Leo Smithberger of the Woodsfield free Methodist church officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville, Ohio with full military rites to be observed at the graveside.
