Lillian M. Burkhart, 78, of 135 Maple Avenue, Woodsfield, died 5:35 p.m. March 31, 1993, in the Barnesville Hospital, Barnesville, Ohio. She was born September 23, 1914, at Woodsfield, a daughter of the late Fred and Belle Shorts Schaub.
She was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield, where she was also a member of the Catholic Women’s Club.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Burkhart and Charles Burkhart, both of Woodsfield; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Logston of Jerusalem, Ohio; one brother, Eugene Schaub of Woodsfield; four grandchildren; four step-granddaughters; several local nieces and nephews including Mrs. Glenn (Juanita) Stalder, Sr. of Sardis, Ohio route and Robert Young of Woodsfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Burkhart on December 15, 1984; one sister, Margaret Young; one brother, Guy Schaub; two grandsons, Anthony and James Burkhart.
Friends were received at Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield on April 2. Funeral Liturgy with Mass was concelebrated at 11 a.m. April 3 in St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield. Burial followed in the Church cemetery.
