Millard W. Danner, 88, of 183 Lincoln St., York, formerly of Wellsville, died Wednesday at his home. He was the husband of the late Geraldine D. (Smith) Danner.
The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cocklin Funeral Home, 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Burial will be in Filey's Cemetery. Viewing will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Danner was born April 30, 1905, in Monaghan Township. He was the son of the late Frederick H. and Emma M. (Markle) Danner.
He was a retired employee of the Thonet Furniture Co.
Mr. Danner is survived by three sons, William F. Danner Sr. of York, Russell L. Danner and Gene C. Danner, both of Wellsville; four daughters, Elsie M. Kitner of Mechanicsburg, Ruth Ann Fahnestock of Mount Holly Springs, Carolyn J. Poe and Ellen E. Jenkins, both of York; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Almeda Davis of Seven Valleys, Ruth Thoman and Evelyn Deardorff, both of East Berlin.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Charles Sunday, pastor of Franklintown United Brethren Church.
