Evelyn Rozell Logan (Memaw), 83, of Oklahoma City went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday, July 24th at home with her grandson's family in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was born to Columbus America and Anna Elizabeth Logan in Crowder, OK on December 27, 1926. She enjoyed children, cooking, quilting and gardening but thoroughly loved reading her Bible and attending church when she was able. She was the patriarch and nurturer of her family. She lovingly accepted her role as a servant to the Lord by taking care of her extended family, church family, foster children, and friends. She always displayed tremendous compassion toward other people, and at, times neglected her own needs to help others, which was why she was known as Memaw to any and all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Cleve Logan, and her brother Sanford Logan. She was survived by her daughter Shirley Phillips of Oklahoma City, her granddaughter Juanita Phillips of Oklahoma City, her grandson and wife Carl and Meridith Phillips of Edmond, her great grandsons Brayden and Noah Phillips of Edmond, and her brother Harvey Logan of Coalinga, CA. Viewing will be Tuesday, 8 am - 9 pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be Wednesday July 28 at 10:30 am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery.
