DIES IN INDIANA - Mrs. Lawanda Knight, died at 12:30 a. m. Monday in Shelbyville, Indiana, where they resided. She was a former resident of Battle Creek, and later of Barry county. Mrs. Knight was born February 22, 1916, in Elsie, Clinton county, Michigan, the daughter of Elmer and Ruth (Niles) Boyst. She lived in Battle Creek as a girl, attending the local schools, then moved to the vicinity of Hastings. She and Mr. Knight were married on April 12, 1946, at Percy Jones General hospital, were he was assigned. Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons by a previous marriage, Edwin E. Williams; Donald N. Williams; James M. Williams; and Richard A. Williams, all at home; and her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert M. Hicks of 202 North Wattles road.
