Lois J. "Mable" Glasco, of Wilmington, Del., born on June 17, 1954, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2010, at the age of 56.
Mable grew up in the Kennett Square and West Chester areas.
She was a graduate of Kennett High School.
She was most recently employed by the YMCA of Delaware as a child care provider and was a longtime worker for Hewlett Packard.
Mable was an active member at Galilee UAME Church and served as an usher.
She enjoyed family gatherings and loved talking about her kids and grandchildren, as well as caring for her mother.
She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Glasco; her three children, Derrick Glasco of Wilmington, Del., Dwight Glasco of Snellville, Ga., and Dionne Taggert of Wilmington, Del.; sisters, Doris Glasco of New Castle, Del., and Beverly Benson and Denise Glasco of Wilmington, Del.; four grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, at Galilee UAME Church, 311 E. Third St., Avondale, PA 19311. Viewing is from 9 to 11 a.m.
Resting Place is at Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square.
