Funeral for Mrs. Pearl Irene Dougherty was geld Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Pavey of Jacksonville officiating. Interment was in Bosque Bello Cemetery.
Mrs. Dougherty, 72 passed away in San Carlos Convalescent Center following a lengthy illness.
She was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Foster Dougherty of Fernandina Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce McKendree of Nassauville and Mrs. Ethelyn Kyzer of St. Augustine Beach; one son, Melvin Dougherty, Fernandina Beach; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Gragg, Fernandina Beach, Mrs. Grace Ward, Fernandina Beach and Mrs. Ruth Thweatt of Waynesboro, VA; four brothers, A.J. Johnson of Ocala, Ralph Johnson of Tallahassee, Leo F. Johnson of Fernandina Beach and George Johnson of Brownsville, TX.
