Annie was ill for several days in late 1935. She died at the home of her oldest son, John, who lived 2 miles north of Batchtown. At the time of her death, she was 78 years, 2 months and 23 days old.
She was survived by 5 sons, John Caselton of Calhoun County, Tony Caselton of Fallen, Nevada, Peter Caselton of Carrollton, Illinois, Bodie Caselton of Batchtown, and James Caselton of St. Louis, Missouri; 1 daughter, Molly Bailey of Jefferson City, Missouri; her grandchildren; 3 sisters, Katie McGuire, Lena Beisman and Mary Ratliff; and many extended family members.
In addition to her mother and father, Annie was preceded in death by her husband, William; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Caselton and Carrie Funk; and 2 children who died in infancy.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. on the morning of 30 Dec 1935 at St. Barbara's Catholic Church in Batchtown. The Reverend A. E. Jacek officiated.
Annie was buried next to her husband, William, who passed away in 1915.
