Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at United Methodist Church
of Golden Meadow.
Service will be at 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery
in Galliano.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Laura Callais Adams; one son, Neil Adams
and wife, Elaine; three daughters, Linda A. Lorraine and husband, Edville, Karen
Studdard and husband, Drew, and Laurie A. Rousse and husband, Patrick; one
sister, Nola Foret; nine grandchildren, Monte Lorraine, Ginger Picou, Marc
Lorraine, Eddie Duet Jr., Kerry Naquin, Matt Adams, Scotty Adams, Lindsey Rousse
and Jessica Rousse; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emelius Adams and Agnes St. Pierre
Adams; two grandchildren, Natalie Rae Duet and Nicholas Adam Rousse; six
brothers, August, Gillis, Sidney, Noles, Dudley and Alcide Adams; and two
sisters, Mary and Sarah Adams.
He was a member of United Methodist Church of Golden Meadow, a World War II Air
Force veteran, and a member of Lafourche Masonic Lodge 427 for 58 years.
