A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Noles T. Adams, 80, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, who died at 4:10 p.m. June 14, 2001.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until funeral time at the church.
Burial will be at the church cemetery.
He was the father of Carl W. Adams and Cynthia A. Navarre; and brother of Nolan Adams and Nola A. Foret. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia A. Adams; parents, Emeluis and Agnes St. Pierre Adams; brothers, Gustave, Alcide, Gillis, Sidney and Dudley Adams; and sisters, Mary and Sarah Adams.
He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of Greenhead Club and Chene of Cowan.
He was a retired boat captain and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.
He enjoyed fishing.
