Funeral services for A.J. "Jack" Kirkland, 75, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Hiway Baptist Church with the Rev. L.M. Westmoreland and the Rev. Billy Thomas officiating.

Interment will be in the Huntington Cemetery.

Mr. Kirkland died at the residence on Rt. 2, Huntington Friday morning.

He was born July 6, 1885, in Tyler County, TX, and had resided in Angelina County most of his life.

He was a member of the Hiway Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Blanche Kirkland; daughter, Mrs. Naomi Elliott; sons, C.B. Kirkland and Jason Kirkland; brother, Charlie Kirkland; sisters, Mrs. Mattie Million, Mrs. Pat Harvill, Mrs. Ollie Harville, Mrs. Grady Cowart, and Mrs. Boyce Stimits; aunt, Mrs. S.O. Riley; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
