Ida Watkins, 85, died Feb.9 in Madera. She was a native of South Dakota and a former resident of Long Beach for 45 years and a resident of Madera for 20 years.
She was a cafeteria manager for the Long Beach School district.
She was a member of the Trinity Episocopal Church of Madera; Episcopal Church Women and St. Margaret's Guild.
She is survived by one brother, Julian Allred of Las Vegas; one sister, Faye Martin of Madera; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
There will be private graveside service Tuesday, Feb. 11 with a memorial service 11 am. Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Trinity Episcopal Church with burial to follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
