Faye passed away January 14, 2002 at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob. Faye was born in Burke, South Dakota, but spent her childhood in Alberta, Canada. After a brief time in Illinois, she moved to California. Faye lived in Madera for 69 years where she was active in many organizations. She was Past Matron of the Eastern Star; past State President of the Rebekah Assembly; past President of the American Legion Auxiliary; and a member of St. Margarets Guild of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Faye was an avid gardener. She loved all flowers, especially her roses; at one time having 175 varieties. She was a loving mother, sister, Nana and friend. The greatest joy of her life was her love of her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchild (she was her "shining star"). Faye loved cooking and was known by all. Nana's pies were "awesome".

A Memorial Service was held Friday, January 18, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Madera. Private burial was at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
