GEO. HENDRICKS SUCCUMBS HERE
Services at 9 O'clock Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church
George W. HENDRICKS, well known Fairfield painter, died at 12:10 o'clock
this morning at the Jefferson county hospital following an extended illness.
He had been in failing health for the past two years and seriously ill one
week.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning from the St.
Mary's Catholic church in charge of Rev. Father E. F. Gaule. Interment in
City cemetery (sic. Evergreen cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa; 2nd Addition, Lot
200).
Mr. HENDRICKS was born Feb. 10, 1872. He was a painter during his entire
life. The present home was made at 306 South Maple.
Besides his wife (sic. Mary Catherine KENNEDY HENDRICKS) he is survived by
his father, George HENDRICKS of Birmingham (sic. Birmingham, Van Buren
county, Iowa) and the following children: Roy, Earl, Charles, Paul, Mrs.
Earl KANE and Mrs. Raymond JUNKIN all of Fairfield. He also leaves three
brothers and four sisters: Ed of Burlington, Colo.; Charles of Windmer,
N.D.; William of Troy; Mrs. James WESTON of Fort Dodge, Mrs. Charles BAILEY
and Mrs. Guy BAILEY of Birmingham and Mrs. Ed COLTON of Ottumwa.
