Mrs. George Hendricks, age 80 years, died at her home Saturday morning. Mrs. Hendricks was formerly Miss Sarah E. Hootman. On Feburary 23, 1868, she was married to George Hendricks. She was born and reared in Van Buren County. After a short residence in Kansas and Illinois they moved to Brimingham and have lived here ever since. She is survived by her husband and the following children; Charles of McKenzie, North Dakota; Edward of Bush, Colorado; George of Fairfield, William and Mrs. Mary Bailey and Mrs. Anna Bailey of Birmingham. She also leaves two sisters and several grand children and other relativies. The funeral services were held at the Free Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of services, Mrs. Eula McDonald, pastor of the church. She was laid to rest in the cemetery east of town.
