Pantagraph, November 16, 1953. EUREKA Mrs. Dora Baker, 66, died Sunday afternoon at a Peoria Hospital after an illness of 10 weeks. She was brought to the Otto and Argo Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and at the Donaldson Funeral Home in McLeansboro at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Crouch cemetery there. Mrs. Baker was born September 23, 1887 in Aden, the daughter of the late Andrew and the late Sara TERRY Buchanan. She was married to Robert D. Baker on October 7, 1906 in Aden. He preceded her in death, Surviving are three sons, Willis, Gridley; Cecil, Eureka; Herschel, St. Louis, Mo., Two daughters, Mrs. Berneatha (Carl) Wilson, Eureka, Eureka; Mrs. Juanita (Wilburn) Young of El Paso; three brothers, John Buchanan, McLeansboro; Leonard, Clifford Buchanan of Tallula; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Smith, Carlinville; Mrs. Grace Becker, Glenarm; and Mrs. Alifair Harlan, Springfield; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A daughter, a son and two sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Eureka Nazarene Church.
