Esther and James H. Allen were married on Sept 13, 1934. Their children are James Weyers Allen, Carolyn Moreen Allen, Richard Duane Allen and Terrence Theodore Allen. A fifth child was born at rest.

After the death of her husband, James H. Allen, in 1988, she married Larry Reger. After Larry Reger's death, she married Dale Stubbendick.

Esther was baptized and confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sterling, NE.
Survived by husband Dale Stubbendick of Syracuse, NE. sons and wives, James and Ann Allen, Richard and Gayle Allen, daughter and husband, Carolyn and Casper Hornung. 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her spouse, James Allen; parents; daughter born at rest. son Terry Allen brothers, Theodore, Henry, Walter, Harold and Edgar Weyers; sister, Dora Kelle, Martha Ross, Ann Wilhelm and Linda Fischer; grandson, Craig Schroeder; great granddaughter, Macy Reimers and great-great-grandson, Micah Reeves.
Funeral services held July 19, 2006 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, Lincoln, NE.
