Lillian remarried to Alfred G Franklin Nov. 7 1968. Alfred is buried with his first with Jennie in the Greenwood Cemetery. Lillian is NOT interred there and it is assumed she was laid to rest next to Lester even though the headstone census only lists the year 1904.

MUSCATINE, Iowa — Services for Lillian G. Franklin, 92, of 1004 Ripley Trailer Park, will be 1:30 p.m. today at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, Muscatine. Burial will be in Parr Cemetery.

Mrs. Franklin died Monday, April 7, 1997, at Muscatine General Hospital.

She retired in 1965 after 23 years at the former International Harvester, Farmall Plant, Rock Island.

Lillian Figgens was born Oct. 10, 1904, in Richmond. She married Lester Eis in 1924. He died in 1966. She married Alfred Franklin in 1968. He died in 1986.

Survivors include daughters,
Betty Van Wey, Wanda Honts and Grace Honts, all of Muscatine, Lorraine Weiland, Snohomish, Wash., and Nancy Ripperger, Blue Grass; stepdaughters, Maxine Wilson and Mona Nichols, both of Muscatine, Norma Faulkner, Letts, and Marilyn McCleary, Fruitland; a son, Earl Eis, Davenport; a stepson, Marvin Franklin, Muscatine;

20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
