Jewell Jordan
SPRINGFIELD — Jewell Edith Hall Jordan of Springfield died June 27 of complications from Alzheimer's disease. She was 89. No service is planned.
She was born July 9, 1920, in Arkadelphia, Ark., to Lester and Leila Brumley Hall. She married James Jordan on Dec. 6, 1936, in Oakwood, Ark. He died Oct. 14, 1996.
A high school graduate, she worked as an institutional cook.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Johnson of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Joyce Fisher of Pleasant Hill; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Riddle. Arrangements by Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances to the Daughters of the American Revolution.
