JORDAN, Jewell Edith Hall 89, of Springfield, OR passed away June 27, 2010. Jewell was born in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and moved to Riddle, Oregon in the late 50s. She is survived by her two daughters Carol Johnson (Bob) of St. Petersburg and Joyce Fisher (Don) of OR. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Cindy Johnson Weatherby, Rob Johnson, and J.C. Fisher of FL and Randy Fisher of OR and five great-grandchildren - Jordan, Austin & Madison Fisher of Pleasant Hill, OR and Hunter & Taylor Johnson of Seminole, FL. She was a member of the Saint Petersburg Chapter DAR. Arrangements by Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in Eugene, OR with inurnment in Riddle, OR.

SPRINGFIELD — Jewell Edith Hall Jordan of Springfield died June 27 of complications from Alzheimer's disease. She was 89. No service is planned.

She was born July 9, 1920, in Arkadelphia, Ark., to Lester and Leila Brumley Hall. She married James Jordan on Dec. 6, 1936, in Oakwood, Ark. He died Oct. 14, 1996.

A high school graduate, she worked as an institutional cook.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Johnson of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Joyce Fisher of Pleasant Hill; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Riddle. Arrangements by Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances to the Daughters of the American Revolution.
