William Albert George, 48, served as a pilot for The Flying Tiger Lines, Inc, a cargo aviation company. He attended Graham Schools before enlisting in the U.S. Armed Forces in World War II. He was assigned to the 20th Airborne Division and had completed 20 years of service. George and his family lived at Conga Park, California. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survived by his wife; two daughters - Debbie George and Cherrie George; his mother - Mrs. W.M. George; one sister - Mrs. Bernice Sipe; one brother - Joe B George.
died at Naha Air Port from an aircraft crash.
