Cordova - Mrs. Vivian Binnicker Buck, 89, of 221 McMillian Road, Cordova, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m . Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, with the Rev. Larry Williams, the Rev. Buddy Wiles and the Rev. James Preveaux officiating. Burial will be in Smoak Family Cemetery, Cannon Bridge Road, Cordova. Pallbearers will be Wayne Hutchins, Dreher Rucker, Johnny McCormick, Ricky Thompson, Jimmy Chavis, Bobby Mast Jr., Eric Antley and Johnny Jennings. Honorary pallbearers will be Chester Bledsoe, Wilbert Bolin, Dr. Arden Weathers, Dr. Vann Beth Shuler, William and Barbara Kneece, Jern Buck and James L. Buck. Mrs. Buck was born Sept. 30, 1916, in Orangeburg, the daughter of the late Willie P. Binnicker and the late Geneva Dukes Binnicker. She was a member of Rivelon Baptist Church and was retired from Azalea Meats. She was the widow of William Buck and was preceded in death by a daughter, Pat Zeigler. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bobby (Judy) Mast of Orangeburg and Ms. Emma Jean Buck of Cordova; two sons, Lynn (Darlene Reed) Buck and Kenneth Buck, all of Cordova; four grandchildren, Karen and Dave McFarlane of Summerville, Kyle Buck of Mount Pleasant, Warren Zeigler of Columbia and Wendell Zeigler of Wilmington, N.C.; three step-grandchildren, Sandra (Frankie) Whetstone of Branchville, Tina Mast of Swansea and Bobby (Debbie) Mast Jr. of Orangeburg; three sisters, Beatrice Hutchins of Cordova, Mildred Edgemon of Orangeburg and Elise Jennings of Cordova and Bamberg; three brothers, Edward Binnicker of Orangeburg, Alvin Binnicker of Beach Island and Wilbur Binnicker of Cordova; a number of nieces and nephews; and a caregiver, Annie Williams of Orangeburg. Friends may call at the residence, 221 McMillian Road, Cordova, and the funeral home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg.
