Ronald Eugene "Gene" Sneddon passed away peacefully at St. Mark's Hospital on July 11, 2010 while surrounded by his loved ones.

Born February 3, 1928 in Soldier Summit, Utah to Richard Sneddon and Genevieve Miner.

In 1949, he married the love of his life, Lena Fabrizio to whom he was devoted for 62 years. Together, they ran a successful wholesale distributorship for forty years. Gene served honorably in the Army during World War II.

Gene is survived by his wife Lena, daughters Diane (Ted) Young, Cynthia (Ferdinand) Zulueta and Debra Parker; grandchildren Bill Davis, Gina Aguayo, Nikol Parker and Tommie Young; sister Pat (Delon) Hawkins; brothers Al (Lynn) Sneddon and Jack (Mary) Sneddon. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jim, Ted, Bernard, Kenneth, and Bill.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2010 in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 East Spring Lane.
Interment will be at Holladay Memorial Park directly following the mass.
