Obituary: Bernard (Ben) Francis Sneddon, 72, passed away May 11, 1998 peacefully at home surrounded by the people who he loved and cared for him. He was born March 16, 1926 in Soldier Summit, Utah, to Genevieve Eleanora Miner Sneddon and Richard R.H. Sneddon. He served his country in the military police from 1945 to 1947. He returned to Utah in 1947 and married Myrtle Jean Newkirk on December 26, 1947. They enjoyed over 50 years of marriage with all the ups and downs.

They have one daughter, Cheryl (David Lee Powell), and grandson, Bernard Robert, Salt Lake City. "We will miss you, until we meet beyond this veil of tears." We would like to thank the hospice caregivers who helped our family so much during this time. Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 14, 1998 at 11 a.m. at Deseret Mortuary Lake Hills, 10055 South State St., Sandy, Utah.
