Tiptonville - Evelyn Rankin, 86, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Reelfoot Manor Nursing Center. She was a retired beautician and a member of Crockett Chapel Methodist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. David Gray officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Survivors include her daughter, Melinda Poole (Brad), of Tiptonville; a son, Bobby Rankin (Jan), of Union City; a sister, Marilyn Bargery Shumate of Tiptonville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
