Henry Williams, son of J. Harrison and Mary Melinda (Dean) Williams married 16 September 1903, MO., Ethel Lee Lenox, born 20 March, 1889, Maramec Twp., Phelps Co. MO, daughter of Henry E. and Lizzie (Hale) Lenox.

Henry S. Williams - Henry Stevens Williams, son of the late Harrison and Mary Williams of Dry Fork neighborhood in Dillon Township, Phelps County was born August 8, 1878 and died Saturday afternoon, Aug. 13, 1949 in the home of his son, Jim, 323 E. Harmon, Midwest City, Oklahoma. He had been ill several years and suffered a stroke two weeks ago. He moved to Oklahoma in 1911 and began working as cotton gin manager for Morgan Gin Co. He worked for the same company until his retirement seven years ago, managing the plants at Washington, Rosedale, Purcell, Choctaw, and Jones. A member of the Christian Church, Williams is survived by his wife, Ethel, four sons, M. E., Galveston, Texas; Norris, 1240 N. St. Clair, Henry, Jr, Houston, Texas, and Jim; four grandchildren, four sisters Mrs. M. G. Herberger, Rolla, Mrs. Ella Haas, St. Louis; Mrs. Lena Fue, Lincoln, Ill., and Mrs. Leslie Bowlin, Los Angeles, Calif. One brother, John (Jack) Williams, Route 1, Rolla. Those attending the funeral at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday in Yoakum Funeral Chapel, Purcell, Oklahoma with burial in Hillside cemetery there were: Mr. and Mrs. Herman Haas, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fue, Mrs. M. G. Herberger, Mr. John Williams and son, Charles and his son Charles, Jr.
