Wonderful father, husband and brother, grandfather, loved by all that met him. Married to Mary Juanita Ferrell, children were, James Edward Heflin, Jr. Anita Joanne Heflin Jones Miller, Julie Kaye Lanford, Joyce Anne Anderson Harris, Grandchildren Rosemary Jones, Ern Weece Jones, Jr. James Alan Jones, Bobby Gene Lanford, Jr. and a grandson who preceded him in death James David Anderson, whom he loved so much that his death took its toll on him and he died 7 1/2 months later. He was a 12 pound baby when he was born. He come from a very large family of brothers and sisters and half brothers and sisters 18 in all. The son of the late James Dallas Heflin and Viola Mae Hutchison.He weighed 12 lbs when he was born. One of 19 brothers and sisters (some were half brothers and sisters). He was a heavy equipment operator and a plumber. He was a good christian man and would do anything for anybody, but if he felt like you were wrong he would tell you, but in a wise way. He was loved by all. He passed away grieving over his grandson who passed away 7 months before him in a mobile home fire. The doctors said he died from an apparent heart attack, but we know it was from a broken heart.
