Bertha Alma Braun was the daughter of Lebrecht and Amalie Oehme Braun. In 1911, she married Charles F. Williamson. They had two sons, Warren and Lawrence. They made their home near Elgin, Texas, where Charles worked for the Butler Brick Company. Bertha died at the age of 40 and is buried next to her parents in McDade, Texas.
