The remains of Mrs. G. W. Cook, sister of Mrs. Bass of this place, and of Mr. Geo. W. and James Piper, arrived here on Saturday last, and was buried in the cemetery here on Monday of this week. The deceased went to Colorado for her health last spring, and died near Denver on Sunday of last week, of consumption, aged about 38 years. She was a very estemable lady, and leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn their sad bereavement.
