Jane married James Piper Sr. 9 December 1835 in Richland Co, Ohio

James Piper Sr. was born 06 May 1808 in Pennsylvania and died 06 April 1852 in Jasper Co, Indiana and is buried in the Blue Grass Cemetery, Newton Township, Jasper Co, IN
James died from rabies.

Info from obituary of son, George W. Piper.
By and by the family moved to Indiana. After a few years residence in that state, where his father died of the rabies, 18 years after he was bitten by a mad dog. George moved with his mother and family to Jefferson county, Kansas, in 1858, locating near the present site of Rock Creek.
