Alfred E. Edwards, age 77, died Wednesday in his home at 361 Mathews, following a long illness. He had lived in Gary for 20 years. Survivors: widow, Adelade; daughters, Mrs. Howard Parker, Mrs. Major Daniels, Mrs. Esther Bogan, Mrs. Ella Negrelli and Miss Madelyn Edwards; sons, Walter and Robert; sisters, Mrs. Tobias Fitzgerald and Mrs. Tilda Brockman, and brother, Albert. The body was taken to Anderson's Funeral Home, where funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow. Rev. E. O. Ralston will officiate, with burial in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
