Private: Ferney W. Blitch (b. 1/7/1837 Effingham County GA; m. Eliza M. Carter 10/11/1903; d. 1/31/1914 Levy County. Buried in Blitch Family Cemetery, Montbrook) does not appear on any rolls but claimed to be a member of this company in his pension application."

He married Harriett Louetta Edwards 07 Sep 1865 in Levy County, FL and they were the parents of 8 children.

Hernando - F. W. Blitch, a former resident of this place, but now of Berlin, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. D. Priest, of Morriston, on Saturday morning. His body was interred at the family burying ground near Montbrook on Sunday. Mrs. J. W. Prater of Dunnellon, was the guest of her sister, Mrs. Busbee on Saturday last.
