Dorthy B. Buckley North Craig
July 09, 1939 - July 11, 2010

Dorthy B. Craig S.F.O, 71, died at her home in Neosho, MO, July 11, 2010 after a long illness.

Dorthy was born July 9, 1939 to Frederick Charles Buckley, Sr. and Barbara Ann (Litty) Buckley.

She worked at AO Community Services as a receptionist until 2008, and came to Neosho two years ago.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She had been a volunteer at St. John's Regional Medical Center, and had been studying for, and becoming, a religious novice. She joined the Secular Franciscan Order, in Springfield, Missouri.

She touched the lives of many people in many different ways and will be missed by many.

She and Jackie Lyle Craig were married September 4, 1971 in Las Vegas, NV. He preceded her in death February 24, 1985.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Webb City, MO.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna & Joe Layton, Neosho, MO; Joan and John Graves of Oronogo, MO; one son, Stewart & Sheila North, Kershaw, SC. One brother: Frederick Charles Buckley, Jr. of Kansas City, MO. Two sisters: Michaeleen & Richard Groff of Broadus, Montana and Augustina Milson of California. She is also survived by eight grand-children and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa Maghrebi and Patricia Parcell and one brother, Edward Buckley.
