Carrollton, Texas — Lillian Dale Scott Alexander passed away on July 11, 2010, in Plano, Texas. She was born in Madill, Okla., on September 22, 1927, to Williamson Penn Scott and Mattie Lou Sacra Scott.
She attended Madill, Okla., elementary and graduated from Madill High in 1945. After graduation she attended I.S.C.W. in Denton and McBride Business School. She worked for five years for Lone Star Gas Company in Dallas.
She married John R. Alexander in 1952 and moved to Dallas, Texas, where she worked for St. Paul Hospital for 18 years. After she retired she moved to Quitman, Texas, in 1981 where she was a member of Quitman Church of Christ and Quitman Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by husband, John Reece Alexander in 2004; daughter, Patricia Lois Alexander in 2000; son, William Dennis Alexander in 2005; sister, Carrie Lou Davis and brother-in-law, Bob Davis of Ardmore, Okla.
Survivors include son, Gary Alexander; daughter-in-law, Lissa Alexander; and grandchildren, Grant, Jarrod, Jillian, Travis and Bo.
