Married Susann Hoatson on May 25, 1957, in the First Presbyterian Church of Raytown, Missouri. He was a Navy veteran, and was a commodity broker with Ralston Purina for 35 years. A member of the Edmond Early Morning Kiwanis Club. President of the Edmond Tennis Assoc., Sectional Chairman Umpires Assoc., U.S.T.A., and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hazelton, Kansas. Survivors: Spouse, Susann Bower, Edmond; Sons: Trent D. Bower, Edmond and Troy R. Bower, Salina, Kansas; Daughter: Ji ll Ann Marshall, Ballwin, Missouri; Brother: Lloyd Bower, Medicine Lodge, Kansas; Sisters: Lucille Spicer, Hazelton, Kansas and Annabelle Kisling, Burlington, OK; Seven grandchildren.
