C. Glenn "Ted" HURST, 92, Macy, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Miller's Merry Manor nursing home in Plymouth, where he had been a patient 16 months. He was born July 25, 1885 in Macy where he lived all his life except for the past 5 1/2 years. He resided in Bourbon four years with a daughter. He was married March 28, 1906 in Macy to Ida May HATCH, who died Nov. 12, 1970. He was a farmer and a member of the First Christian church of Macy. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Sidney (Harriet) HATFIELD of Bourbon six grandchildren, David HURST, Macy; John HURST, Mentone; Steve HURST, Nappanee; Jim HURST, Mentone; Mrs. Wayne (Nancy) ROMINE, Bourbon, and Mrs. Terry (Sue) ABELL, Centreville, Va.; eight great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law, Leora HURST, Macy. A son, Bernard [HURST], died in June, 1974. Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Zimmerman Bothers funeral home with the Rev. Chester H. WALTHER officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2- 9 p.m. Burial will be in the Plainview cemetery at Macy.
