James Barger, one of the wealthiest citizens of Clay Township, died at his home north of Petersville yesterday afternoon at two o'clock, his death being the result of lung trouble of recent date. He has, however, been troubled with a nervous affliction, the result of a diseased spine, for several months. Mr. Barger was 63 [sic] years of age, and was well known and highly respected."
